Defense Türkiye is an independent news platform that covers Türkiye’s defense and aerospace industry for an international audience.
What we cover
We follow the programmes, companies and decisions that shape the sector: unmanned systems, combat aircraft and helicopters, armoured vehicles, naval platforms, missiles and air defense, defense electronics, space, exports and defense policy. Next to the daily news we keep programme files and company profiles, and we update them as the programmes move forward.
How we work
Our reporting starts from primary material: statements by the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) and the Ministry of National Defense, company announcements, exhibition briefings and official documents. We add open-source reporting where it helps, and we name the sources an article relies on. When a figure or a claim cannot be confirmed, we say so in the text.
Five editions
Defense Türkiye is published in English, Turkish, Arabic, Russian and Chinese, so readers, analysts and procurement professionals can follow the Turkish defense industry in their own language.
